Hi Paul,
As promised in my own words, here is my story.

It began with a small patch on my index finger. Just a tiny area of red, irritated skin—set off by perfumes, soaps, and detergents. This was back in 2021, and that little patch lingered for almost a year.
By the spring of 2023, that patch had spread across my whole finger. Then it moved to the palm of my right hand. Small blisters appeared, spreading quickly and bursting, and it felt like fire whenever anything touched it. I blamed cleaning products and started wearing rubber gloves. But by the summer of 2023, the redness and the painful eczema patches had taken over both hands. That’s when I knew I had a real problem.I switched to unperfumed products. I researched natural cleaning alternatives and I turned to a steroid cream, which did help for a while. My skin cleared, and I felt as though I had things under control.
Around that time, I also began looking into natural remedies and came across an article about sound frequencies. I was fascinated. I started listening to different sound waves to help with healing. By spring 2024, I was exploring sound therapy more seriously, for both my anxiety and my worsening skin condition.
Then I went to the chemist to get more steroid cream and was refused. I was told I’d been using it for too long. As an aromatherapist (though no longer practicing) I decided to make a lavender-based product for myself instead but by then my skin was red raw and extremely sore and the cream I made only irritated it further. The spots were spreading up my arms. It felt completely out of control, and my anxiety spiraled.
I tried YouTube videos on healing frequencies. I looked deeper into sound therapy, and that summer, when travelling to Italy with a friend, I even searched for a local sound bath to try, but the dates didn’t work out for our trip.
Meanwhile, all my online searching triggered the algorithms, and suddenly my social media was full of sound bath content. One of those posts was Paul’s. I liked it, and he reached out on Facebook to tell me about his Purusha Sound practice. He invited me to a session—one that combined a sound bath with yoga nidra. My friend and I went along.
Afterwards, Paul and I caught up, and he suggested I might benefit from doing a course. My friend agreed. The following month, I began attending weekly sound bath sessions. During one session, I opened up a little about what I was struggling with—the anxiety that had become debilitating. Travelling into London for work, being around people, constantly wearing gloves so I could hold handrails or press buttons without pain—it all felt overwhelming and I was self conscious of how my hands looked.
Paul said something that stayed with me. He said that feeling anxious happens to everyone, that it’s simply part of life and that resonated deeply. I had felt so alone in coping with my pain that I’d forgotten others also carry anxious thoughts and fears.
That simple reminder shifted something in me and in the weeks that followed, I began to notice physical changes—my hands were improving. I can’t fully explain how or why sound therapy helped me but I felt a connection to it, something deep within. I believe having an open mind allowed that connection to grow.
Now, a year on, I am managing my life with so much more ease. I use a combination of sound, frequency, and yoga nidra for mindfulness. And best of all—I no longer have to wear gloves to hide my hands.

my client wishes to remain anonymous.
